Sierra Leone’s New Ambassador to Morocco Presents Credentials

Sierra Leone’s Ambassador Designate to Morocco, His Excellency Alhaji Momodu Koroma, has presented his letter of credence to Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Nasser Bourita, on Friday, 6th December 2024. Minister Bourita congratulated Ambassador Koroma and reaffirmed Morocco’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, especially in development and economic cooperation.

Ambassador Koroma expressed gratitude for the warm reception and conveyed President Julius Maada Bio’s message of goodwill to King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people. He pledged to enhance relations between the two nations and focus on fostering investment and development opportunities.

Appointed by President Bio in July 2024, Ambassador Koroma is the second envoy to represent Sierra Leone in Morocco since the embassy’s opening in 2021. He aims to build on the strong ties and deepen bilateral collaboration.
