On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, KADCO, a top Sierra Leonean beverage company, bolstered the National Senior Men’s Cricket Team by donating two sets of premium jerseys and tracksuits for the ICC tournament in Abuja, Nigeria, scheduled for November 21-29.
During a presentation at KADCO’s Grafton headquarters, Cricket Sierra Leone’s Board Chairman, Francis Trevor Samura, expressed gratitude for the timely support. He highlighted the financial relief the donation brings and commended the quality of the kits.
KADCO’s Acting CEO, Arman Darwani, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to cricket, describing the sport as a passion and promising continued support for national teams, including future backing for women’s cricket. General Manager Oliver Somasa emphasized KADCO’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and long-term community investments.
This marks KADCO’s second major contribution to the team in three years, following sponsorships for the Nigeria Bilateral Series and ICC qualifiers in Kigali. The donation boosts the team’s morale and preparedness as they gear up for the Abuja showpiece.
