Dr. Brima Patrick Kapuwa Named Director General of Service Delivery and Performance Management

Dr. Brima Patrick Kapuwa has been appointed as the Director General of Service Delivery and Performance Management. The appointment, effective upon his reporting for duty, was made official through a letter dated May 21, 2024, from Julius F. Sandy, PhD, Secretary to the President. The letter, addressed to Dr. Kapuwa, stated that the President of Sierra Leone, Brigadier (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, had personally approved the appointment, reflecting the administration’s commitment to improving public service delivery and overall governmental performance.

In his new role, Dr. Kapuwa will oversee and manage the performance metrics of various governmental departments, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and meet citizens’ expectations. The Office of the President emphasized that the detailed terms and conditions of Dr. Kapuwa’s service will be communicated in due course. In the meantime, Dr. Kapuwa has been requested to indicate his acceptance of the offer in writing.

This appointment underscores the government’s strategic focus on accountability and performance management, aligning with broader national development goals.
