Sierra Leone’s Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, and National Sports Authority Director-General Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai stressed the project’s importance as a hub for international events and a source of national pride.
The renovation aims to elevate the stadium’s infrastructure for global competitions while deepening China-Sierra Leone relations. With increased seating capacity, the stadium is poised to host larger audiences, attract prominent events, and bolster sports development in Sierra Leone.
