The Sierra Leone National Fire Force has issued a public notice inviting applications for the 2024 recruitment of Cadet Station Officers and Firefighters. Applicants must be Sierra Leonean, physically and mentally fit, with no criminal record.
Criteria for Station Officer Cadet (Grade 7):
- Age: 18-35 years
- Degree from a recognized university or tertiary institution (with testimonial)
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- Managerial ability is an advantage
- Good physique, sociable, good humor, and patience are added advantages
Criteria for Firefighter Drivers (Grade 3):
- Age: 18-35 years
- Minimum BECE level education and a valid driving license (ABCD order)
- Experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles
General Requirements for All Applicants:
- Must be a citizen of Sierra Leone
- Must provide proof of physical and mental fitness
- No criminal record
