Honourable Justice Alhaji Momoh Jah-Stevens has adjourned the high-profile murder trial of Abdul Kpaka, accused of killing his girlfriend, Sia Fatmata Kamara, to Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Kpaka faces charges of murder and perverting the course of justice, with allegations that he fabricated evidence related to the case. During the hearing, he pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Justice Jah-Stevens assured both parties of an impartial trial, emphasizing strict adherence to the law and urging the prosecution to provide the required criminal procedure act for the proceedings. He stated that Kpaka would not be granted bail, citing concerns for his safety and that of the state.
