Sandra Sidiki, a widow with six children living in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone, is urgently requesting help to support her family.
Sandra shared that she lost her husband six years ago, and since then, life has been extremely difficult for her and her children.
She revealed that her only means of survival is begging, and often, she returns home with nothing for her children to eat. It has been eight days since they last had rice; they rely solely on gari for sustenance.
Sandra also mentioned that she is an orphan and has no siblings to turn to. The pain and struggles she faces with her children are overwhelming. Her son recently injured his foot, but she cannot afford the necessary medical treatment.
She is appealing to the public for assistance to alleviate the suffering her children are enduring.
