Sulaiman Sengu Koroma, the Northern Region Public Relations Officer of the Electricity Distribution Supply Authority (EDSA), announced the regional launch of the Token Identification (T.ID) rollover in Makeni on Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16.
The launch will include street sensitization at major public places like the Makeni Lorry Park and the N.P. Lorry Park, along with a radio simulcast in the evening.
Koroma explained that T.ID, a unique token identifier coded into tokens bought from any vending point, will help reduce EDSA’s workload by combatting illegal connections and meter tampering by customers.
