During an official visit to Beijing on Monday, Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov announced that Russia and China held talks to strengthen military and defense cooperation. Belousov praised the growing ties between the two nations, highlighting that their relationship is expanding rapidly and has reached an unprecedented level.
“Russian-Chinese military cooperation is crucial for enhancing defense capabilities and ensuring global and regional stability,” he said.
China’s Defense Minister echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their shared goal of advancing military collaboration.
Belousov’s visit coincided with China’s military conducting war games as a warning against “separatist acts” in Taiwan, with Beijing pledging further action if necessary.
